When you refer yourself as a professional it’s horizon is not just limited to career but extends out of work. You are the professional of your life and work is a part of it. Fitness in digital age is a challenge. Earning bread and butter is a human need but getting too involved and neglecting health is a serious concern. Understand that you are the most important person in your life and taking care of your wellbeing is of high importance. Rise Early

Wake up around 15 – 30 mins earlier adding to usual getting ready time for the office hardly three days in a week. And do some flexes to loosen up your body muscles and get relaxed with the early morning soothing weather. A walk constituting the flexes will be an excellent breakthrough.

Eat Healthy

Pack whole food in lunch which you have already prepared in the night and preserved well. If you don’t have time to make food then program yourself to order healthy whole food avoiding junks. Do religiously pack nuts as snacks and use it to feed yourself from time to time in office. The nutrition will continuously be streaming your body.

Missed Breakfast?

Don’t skip your breakfast and make sure you have healthy breakfast with dairy products and lots of iron. Drink plenty of liquids the entire day from the start.

Climb the Stairs

Take stairs instead of lift. Lift to be taken only when you are running late for the office otherwise avoid it. It keeps you fit and especially a boom to overweight employees. It also works as an excellent alternative to the 15 mins loss in case you missed the morning walk.

Go for a brief walk

Take a walk outside after lunch. Sedentary work nature requires the most in order to relax muscles and to avoid blood clot. Machine breaks down if not run for a long time. Your body is like a machine so to avoid it’s part failure it needs to be exercised from time to time. During work get up, move your legs and feet around, walk a bit, let your body parts be in motion.

Team Activity

Any activity which requires maximum locomotion is good for balancing mental and physical health at work. Like group physical exercise so carry your gym suit and trainers with you. Staying fit is not just limited to body but mentally fit counts too. Organise with your team a fruitful productive discussion every week and whenever time available. It will distress you of work and build cordial relationship with employees.
